Foul-Art Foulard – FA – 01

The inspiration for this scarf derives from quotes by important artists and philosophers regarding Art. In their simplicity, truthfulness and wisdom they strike directly to my heart. They share a common language. The language of creation spoken with one voice, even if the wording is variable. My intention is to carry them on me, so that I can read them every now and then, wherever I find myself. On my way to a cafe or on a trip and even share them with a friend. Therefore, I decided to print them on fabric combination with some brush or pencil strokes in different colours and thus create a scarf which I can wear and have it with me whenever I choose to.
